Hamlin Middle School Theatre Program

The Hamlin Coyote Middle School Theatre experience provides students the opportunity to develop character, confidence and community as well as the technical and performance skills of Theatre. Additionally, these students learn lifelong skills that prepare students for all career choices. There are experiences in a middle school student’s career that literally last a lifetime. Students in this program will have an opportunity to strengthen these skills in class, on stage and behind stage. With the help of your contributions, students will get the necessary materials to put on full live theatrical productions, attend field trips, attend and participate in Thespian events, obtain the equipment and productions needed for class projects and productions, have guest artists work with them, learn and create design concepts, pursue their dreams and more. The Hamlin Coyote Theatre Boosters raise funds to support our theatre program. Monies raised are crucial to help us to pay for production royalties, choreographers, lumber, scripts, and costumes, as well as registration fees to District and State Festivals and classroom materials for hands-on projects. The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at the Hamlin Middle School.

Contributions to Hamlin Middle School Theatre Fund can be made at any time. The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check payable to Foundation for Orange County Public Schools or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.  In the memo section list Hamlin Middle School Theatre.

The Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Hamlin Middle School Theatre Program; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.
