Christopher Gomez, a 3rd grade student at Thornebrooke Elementary School, was diagnosed with a rare cancer in March 2021. After a year and a half of chemo & radiation, in July 2022, his scans did not show any signs of cancer. In Oct 2022, 3 months later, Chrissy complained of pains and after a CT scan new nodules were found. Since then, a new tumor has grown on his bladder. He has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
The family is currently experiencing financial hardship. The Thornebrooke community would like to offer them support through this difficult time.
If you would like to help the Gomez family in this time of need, please make a gift to the fund. You may give online using the form below. If you prefer to give by check, please make it payable to "Foundation for OCPS," write: "Christopher Gomez Fund" in the memo section, and mail it to the Foundation for OCPS, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL 32801.
The family is so thankful for your support.
PLEASE NOTE: Since all contributions will be distributed directly to the family, gifts are not considered tax deductible. However, your support is greatly appreciated by the family.
