We are so proud to celebrate that Meadow Woods Middle School is a Franklin Covey Leader in Me Lighthouse School of Innovation. We are the first and only OCPS school to receive this prestigious accreditation. The Franklin Covey organization, through the 7 Highly Effective Habits of People, has evolved into the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens for education.  The Leader In Me framework aims to builds future leaders through a unique approach of integrating highly effective practices throughout a school’s culture. By exploring its paradigms and highly effective practices one can see how the Leader In Me transforms students, teachers, families, and the community. Instead of focusing on academic measures alone, Leader in Me embodies a holistic approach to education, redefining how schools measure success. This approach empowers educators with effective practices and tools to teach LEADERSHIP to every student, create a CULTURE of student empowerment, and align systems to drive results in ACADEMICS.

It is vital that we continue to leverage our pillars of leadership, culture, and academics through key stakeholder partnerships with our Meadow Woods families, community, and businesses.
