The purpose of the Dream Lake Elementary Campus Beautification Campaign is to create an engaging outdoor educational experience for all students at Dream Lake Elementary while celebrating the city of Apopka’s rich history in the foliage industry. By raising funds from families, community members and businesses to make improvements to the outdoor environment of the school, contributors will develop a sense of pride in our revered community school that has served the Apopka community over multiple generations. All contributions to the Fund are tax deductible.  The Dream Lake Elementary School Campus Beautification Campaign will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Dream Lake Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.

Initiatives will be completed in phases to include a Memorial Garden and updated school entry, an outdoor classroom, an accessible garden for all students, seating areas and play expansion, an outdoor performance space,  as well as parking lot tree canopy. As phases are completed, this page will reflect the funds raised and where funds were spent to enhance the outdoor learning environment for all students. 

Contributions to the Campaign may be made at any time to Dream Lake Elementary School, and will be tax deductible.  The Campaign can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.  In the memo line, please list Dream Lake Elementary School.
