The Lakemont Elementary School Leopards Fund's purpose is to supplement the funds available to Lakemont Elementary School and will be used to offset classroom expenses, meet student's needs, enhance the school campus, support activities that promote community engagement, and provide training for students, faculty and staff.
The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents, staff and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at Lakemont.
Contributions to the Leopards Fund can be made at any time to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, and will be tax deductible. The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL 32801. In the memo section, please list Lakemont Leopards Fund.
The Leopards Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Lakemont Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.
