Renaissance was founded by educators in 1988 and Jostens Renaissance is the first and only national education-focused program created to recognize the academic achievements of students from elementary school through college. The Renaissance program creates an environment where academic achievement is nurtured and celebrated. The primary goals are to increase student performance and teacher enthusiasm and raise the level of community participation in schools. Union Park Middle School strives to be a successful Renaissance School as we continue to focus on:

Performance– enhance the climate and culture and it is extended to students and Staffulty (staff+faculty=staffulty). Union Park Middle School continues to set high standards for students and provide recognition for improvement. Members of the Staffulty are also rewarded for their efforts as we strive to be One School, One Family, One Community.

Partnership– designed to inspire, motivate, and renew a climate and culture of character, connection of stakeholders, and celebration of achievement while addressing the needs, challenges, and concerns in today’s schools.

We invite you to join our school in encouraging the importance of regular attendance, academic performance, and overall citizenship. This is a great way for you to become involved in making a difference in the lives of our students. You can become one of our Renaissance partners by supporting and making contributions to our school.

Contributions to the Renaissance Program at Union Park Middle School can be made at any time and will be tax deductible.  The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year.  Checks should be made out to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools (FOCPS) and in the memo section list Union Park Middle School.  Mail the check to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.

The Union Park Middle School Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Union Park Middle School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.
