The Water Spring Otter Fund’s purpose is to supplement the funds available to Water Spring Elementary School and will be used to offset classroom expenses, enhance the school campus, support activities that promote community engagement, and provide training for students, faculty and staff.
The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at Water Spring Elementary School.
Invest: Contributions to the Otter Fund can be made at any time to Water Spring Elementary School, and will be tax deductible. The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year.
The Otter Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Water Spring Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.
Numerous families, staff members and business partners have pledged to make a difference through the Otter Fund. Together, we have set a goal of $100,000 to provide our Otters with extraordinary experiences, learning programs, and resources.
