About Kathleen Wright
Since July 2016, Kathleen Wright has served as the Administrator for Partners in Education. Kathleen has been a classroom teacher in Florida and Kentucky for 15 years, in Title I schools.
In her current position, she conducts annual training for more than 400 coordinators for OCPS schools & departments. She is also responsible for many district-wide initiatives, such as the Charity Recycling Program, school-based food pantry assistance, and the national program, Sonny’s Random Acts of BBQ—School Edition. In January 2020, Kathleen was named President of the Florida Association for Partners in Education, a role she held until the Summer of 2022.
She graduated from Eastern Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and continued her education at Indiana Wesleyan University to obtain a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Kathleen loves to travel and spends her leisure time with friends, remodeling her home, and spending time with her big, fluffy cat, Minka.
