Read2Succeed is an enrichment program that pairs struggling first and second-grade readers with trained tutors. Volunteers meet with students for 30-60 minutes per week for one-on-one tutoring sessions during the school day.

Read2Succeed helps to develop the student’s reading skills by focusing on vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency.  Volunteers help students gain essential reading skills.

The program uses engaging activities and interesting materials to make learning enjoyable, fostering a lifelong love of books.

Volunteers are mentors, and personalized and positive interactions can significantly improve a student’s confidence.

Last year Read2Succeed engaged nearly 5,000 students across the district.  Volunteer today and help a student achieve important milestones throughout their reading journey!
