Read2Succeed is an enrichment program that pairs struggling first and second grade readers with trained volunteers from the community. Volunteers meet with students for 30-60 minutes/week for one-on-one tutoring sessions during the school day .

Read2Succed helps to develop the student’s reading skills by focusing on vocabulary, comprehension and fluency.  Volunteers help students gain essential reading skills.

The program uses engaging activities and interesting materials to make learning enjoyable, fostering a lifelong love of books.

Volunteers are mentors, and the personalized and positive interactions can significantly improve a student’s confidence.

Last year Read2Succeed engaged nearly 5,000 students across the district.  Volunteer today and help a student achieve important milestones throughout their reading journey!
