For Educators
We help students by helping teachers. Through unique and innovative teacher grant programs, backed by some of the community’s major corporate education supporters, the Foundation is supporting creative learning initiatives in the classroom. In fact, since the establishment of these grants, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.64 million to over 3,100 Orange County Public School teachers. Areas of grant focus include math and science enrichment, reading readiness, and specialized in-class resources. These grants enable teachers to help students stretch their imaginations and take learning to a new level. They give our schools extra resources and directly aid teachers, who often spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on classroom needs each year.
The Foundation is constantly working with businesses and the community to pursue new programs that benefit our students, teachers and schools. If you have an idea, we want to hear about it.
