The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools’ Award Patrol surprised three teachers with an early announcement they have been awarded a 2009-2010 Foundation Teacher Grant.

Celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools annual "FORE Our Schools" golf tournament raised more than $122,000 this year for schools and programs in the district.

Stepping into the May 14 Board of Directors meeting for the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, I was excited to announce to this esteemed group that the organization was awarded a $10,000 Disney Helping Kids Shine Grant! The funding will help pay for literacy materials to support their Read2Succeed program.
